DO NOT STAY HERE! Toilet did not flush, Freezer made loud noise. TV did not work. Hot water in shower made loud squeal. Holes in blanket. I showed pictures to the manager and he told me that I should have moved to a different room. Sleep in your car before you stay here.
Nice room and quite. Fair price. The staff while checking in was really nice and polite. Easy to find just off the interstate.
My family checked out this morning after a 2 night stay. I will begin by saying the staff we dealt with directly, a housekeeper and 2 different front desk clerks were amazingly nice and helpful. However the motel is very outdated, light fixtures in bathroom are rusted, mattreses need replacing and the atmosphere inside the room is so dark and dank that my husband and I laid in bed scratching for fear of bugs and started to check out in the middle of the night. The fridge in our room made such a racket that we had to unplug it immediately when we entered the room. There were cobwebs and dust everywhere on the ceiling, lampshades etc. The room had a heinous smell, like it had not been used in months. The blankets on the bed also had large wholes in them. I guess I was expecting to much out of this considering it was a cheap motel. Overall the nice staff was the best part of our experience. My advice to owners/management updated your property with some much needed repairs.
My brother and I stayed for 4 nights. Not the best experience either of us has had. He is diabetic and needed a fridge in his room. I asked the front desk for a fridge for him and was told they could not move a fridge into his room but they would move him to a room with a fridge. He would not move because he would not be near me if he did. Why is the coffee maker not near the outlet to plug it in? Toilet did not flush as well as it should. It was noisy a couple nights and he could not sleep well. I was farther away. The maid staff was good. Front desk could use some improvement. I asked about where to get souvenirs and the clerk told me he did not live near and so could not tell me where to find some. Shouldn't he have a better answer for so many tourists? We will NOT stay there again. As my brother said, it's good for construction workers.
Great basic room, clean. The guy that checked us in was really good. I think his name was Jerry.
